The National Strategy Information Center (NSIC) undertakes innovative, results-oriented research and educational programs to enhance security in the United States and promote democracy and the rule of law abroad. Founded in 1962, the Washington-based NSIC combines analytical prowess with practical application, identifying problems and developing potential solutions. It tests its findings in the real world through pilot projects and other techniques. Lessons learned are then incorporated into actionable tools. NSIC subsequently collaborates with major partners who can apply their greater resources to extend the reach and effectiveness of these initiatives. MORE
