The National Strategy Information Center is a nonpartisan, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt educational organization. It has been classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity as defined in Section 509(a)(1) and as a publicly supported organization as defined in Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code as amended by the Tax Reform Act of 1969.
NSIC is funded primarily by U.S. foundations, international organizations, and U.S. government education programs. All contributions to NSIC are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
